is a writer from Baton Rouge, LA. His fiction and essays have appeared in The New York Times, Oxford American, Epoch, and American Short Fiction, among others, and have been anthologized in Best New American Voices, Best of the Net, and Bar Stories. His collection The Prospect of Magic won the Tartt's First Fiction Prize, was a Finalist for the Eric Hoffer Award for General Fiction, and was an Editor's Pick for Best New Books of 2010 by Oxford American.
