Join us for the 26th annual Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word, October 10-12, 2014 at Legislative Plaza in downtown Nashville. We hope you'll be a part of it!
The Festival is a free event with no registration or tickets required. Author sessions take place in the hearing rooms of the Tennessee Legislature, located beneath Legislative Plaza (main entrance at 6th and Union) and in the Nashville Public Library (entrance on Church St).
All author signings take place in the Author Signing Colonnade, located at the top of the steps leading from Legislative Plaza to War Memorial Auditorium.
The 26th annual Southern Festival of Books dates and hours are:
Friday, October 10, 2014: 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 11, 2014: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 12, 2014: 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.

Room blocks will be reserved at area hotels with discounted rates for Festival attendees. When making hotel reservations, make sure to let them know you are reserving in the Southern Festival of Books block in order to get discounted room rates. These blocks do have cut-off dates, so be sure to reserve early.
Book early, as this time in Nashville is a very busy one and accommodations sell out quickly.
