Well researched and curated, “King Iron” seeks to further our understanding of pre-Civil War Tennessee through the lens of industrial slavery and its regional impact.

The exhibition opening will be accompanied by a panel discussion with the Tennessee African-American Historical Group and descendants of enslaved iron workers from within Middle Tennessee.

This event is FREE and open to the public at the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum Refreshments will be served. Visit the museum webpage for more info.
