Alexis Stevens serves as Director of Operations, overseeing Humanities Tennessee’s financial administration, technology infrastructure, strategic goals, and day-to-day operations.

Alexis earned an M.A. in American Studies from the University of Iowa and a B.A. with honors in Ethnic Studies and Women & Gender Studies from the University of Oregon. She is passionate about the power of the humanities to transform individuals and communities for the better.
