Tim Henderson has been on the Humanities Tennessee staff since 1998, serving as the Director of Digital Programs and Operations before taking on his current role as Executive Director. Tim was born and raised in Nashville, TN. After attending local public schools, he attended Union University in Jackson, TN, receiving his B.A. with honors in English and Philosophy. Later, he received his M.A. in English from Middle Tennessee State University, where he taught writing while pursuing his degree, and his M.S. in Information Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has written and presented conference papers on Wallace Stevens and Jean Rhys (the subject of his MA thesis) as well as Shakespeare’s As You Like It.
